Red, White, and ’Cue: Georgia History Through Barbecue

Event Description

Join the Save Acworth History Foundation for a presentation on "Red, White, and ’Cue: Georgia History Through Barbecue." This program will be presented by Dr. James "Trae" Welborn III. It is a " flavorful and surprising journey through barbecue traditions that illuminate Georgia’s social, cultural, and civic history." 


This event will be held at 7:00 PM on August 11, 2026, at Acworth's Historic Rosenwald School in Doyal Hill Park (4410 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA 30101). It is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
